Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Description for the position of Residential Construction Supervisor at Amar Exteriors Ltd. is as: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the daily activities of tradesmen and helpers, construction workers and other sub-contractors. Ability to read construction drawings to ensure that the constructions is being done according to plans. Prepare requisition of material and supplies. Order, receive and distribute material and supplies. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade sub-contractors. Ensure that structures are built as per specifications. Resolve labor problems to ensure productivity. Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Make sure that construction schedules are met as per construction contracts. Prepare work progress reports. Skills and Experience requirement: Completion of Secondary Education is required. Relevant higher education/certification is an asset. Minimum 2 years of relevant construction experience is required. Ability to communicate in English. Heavy lifting may be required. Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions is required.
